For people that prefer silence, there are still many places that are untoched by tourists. You can visit beautiful islands or check the ancient history (amfitheater in Pula and stronghold in Dubrovnik). Some people prefer just walking on the streets of many towns near to the cost.

If you stay longer you will get touched by spirit of the people. They are really easy going but extremly friendly and helpful. If you asked them for help they will gladly help you. I have some experienced when I was invited to some persons home for the dinner eventhough we just meet and we did not know each other before. Not to mention the food! Amazing! All fresh fish from the sea, different shells and also tasty octopuss. People that do not like fish they do not need to worry. Lamb made on ope fire is specialty on the Croatian Islands.
