Salmon On The Grill: A Healthy Recipe And Homemade Tartar Sauce.

Grilled salmon is a simple yet delicious entree to prepare on your grill this season

. The aluminum foil packets in the recipe will keep the moisture of the salmon, creating a succulent meal. Salmon is abundant in Omega 3 fatty acids, a healthy fat that fights depression, heart disease, and diabetes. This recipe is for four fillets but you will want to cook as many as your grill can hold.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets, washed and patted dry

Finely minced garlic, about 8 cloves

Juice of one lemon, fresh-squeezed

A bit of dried dill

Salt and pepper, as needed

Sheets of foil, one sheet per piece of salmon

Directions

Put each piece of fish on a sheet of foil, place the skin down. The foil sheets need to be large enough to wrap the fillet tightly.

Splash each piece with garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Adjust the amount to suit your own taste.

Wrap each fillet in a secure aluminum pack to keep the moisture in.

Place each fillet on a pre-heated grill; cover the grill.

Cook the salmon for 4-7 minutes on each side depending on the thickness of the fillets. The packets helps keep the fish from burning too quickly.

Serve the fish immediately with tartar sauce.
