Salt Lake City residents are maintaining community solidarity by taking steps to protect themselves and each other with neighborhood watch groups and by installing home security systems in their respective homes. As a result the area is becoming safer and people can go back to focusing on whatever it is that drew them to the area in the first place. When security is taken care of, they can focus on the more awe inspiring characteristics of the area.
