Samsung Bd-c7500 Blu-ray Player Review
Like last years BD-P4600, Samsung is introducing another uniquely designed Blu-ray Player
, the BD-C7500. While most Blu-ray players have a black glossy finish, this player has a nature-wood inspired exterior finish. Add to that, Samsung is pronouncing the player as the World's Thinnest at just 1.1 inches thick, which can also be mounted to your wall. The BD-C7500 design succeeds in setting itself apart from all the other Blu-ray Players.
Besides wall mounting the player, you can have it standing at a 25 degree angle or simply laying down flat. The disc loading tray is located on the right side of the Blu-ray Player. It is truly a stunning and innovative design that will appeal to many. Also, appealing is its easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI). Samsung has gone with a more image menu making it easier and faster to select features and functions.
The Samsungs BD-C7500 does have built-in Wi-Fi and 1 GB of internal storage memory, so you can conveniently take advantage of BD-Live content. Or you can access Internet@Tv and Samsungs Apps; which will gives you online access to streaming movies, TV shows, music, videos and other online content. Services such as Blockbuster, Fashion TV, Netflix, Picasa, Pandora, Rovi, Accedo Broadband, AccuWeather.com, The Associated Press, Travel Channel, Twitter, USA TODAY, and Vudu are all available. Giving you a tremendous amount of material to choose from and enjoy.
Image quality will be at 1080p/24 fps playback with Blu-ray Discs, without any need for up converting. DVD up conversion is available up to 1080p. There is internal audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital, DTS-HD and Dolby Digital Plus. And with improved disc loading times and operation speed, you can begin to enjoy these features faster than before.
THE PROS: This sleek new design by Samsung, the BD-C7500, is being call the worlds smallest Blu-ray Player. It has Built-in Wi-Fi and 1GB of internal memory. You can get access to Samsung's Internet@TV to download and stream internet movies and TV shows, etc. Has internal audio decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
THE CONS: Price is still unknown for the BD-C7500. There are no 3D features. BD-C6500 seems to have the same features available.
THE FINAL WORD: With a sleek, small, natural-wood design, this just maybe the best looking Blu-ray Player ever. It is wall mountable and does have Built-in Wi-Fi and 1 GB of internal memory storage, so you can easily take advantage of streaming online features and BD-Live features. If you want a more standard looking Blu-ray Player, the "normal looking" BD-C6500 seems to have all the features of the BD-C7500.-- No launch date or pricing announced--
