The Samsung Galaxy S will be utilising the rich power of the 1 GHz single core processor in the phone to power the Android 2.1 operating system that recently received an update to the 2.2 version. However, it has been followed up with the 2.3 version, but Samsung have not taken long to provide this update for the phone has it is expected to be available for the Samsung Galaxy S within a few weeks. It will be updating the phone to the latest standards currently available and this has been possible only due to the presence of this powerful processor. It is a processor that is going to be supplemented by the 512 MB of RAM that is also good in terms of the competition is well. Even though the phone is going to be lacking in the HDMI port, it is more than making up for it by providing the TV out feature.

This feature will be used to replicate the Samsung Galaxy S's interface on the large screen television, which can then be used to view the photos and videos recorded using the five megapixel camera. This camera is an autofocus unit, which is going to be aptly supplemented by the HD video recording option.
