Samsung Galaxy S is one of the latest Android-based smartphones released by Samsung this year. Actually Samsung is a company that knows what is hard work, which is why their phones combine functionality and style and almost always get good sales.

From the outside the phone looks very good and stylish. The screen is hard to scratch and it has extra protection, other elements are also durable and look very good. The screen as usual supports multi-touch and delivers great colors and definition. The phone itself is slim and light and very comfortable to use. The heart of this phone is a 1 GHz CPU that guarantees speed of all possible operations, combined with 512 MB RAM it gives out very good productivity and makes Samsung Galaxy S a real smartphone. 5 Megapixel camera is one of the best among other smartphones, it has a great functionality and provides awesome quality for both video and photos. The inner memory is not so big, but can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card.

As for the software part Galaxy S supports the latest Android version and is packed with various pre-installed applications. It has everything from bookreader to navigation and most important a file manager which is absent in other smartphone models. This is actually a huge benefit because as soon as you buy this phone you have all the functionality comfortably lying in your hand, with no need for any additional installing, downloading or updating just to get some application.

The only negative side of this phone is that most of the features need some time to get used to them, but if this time can be considered as an investment it is definitely a good investment in a good smartphone.

Of course some people would mention that Samsung is aimed more on the casual user, but with such great results as Samsung Galaxy S this can hardly be called a drawback.
