Start with what is wrong and why he gave four stars.I are Samsung and one of the reasons I bought this summer, so you can synchronize all your devices using the remote control Anynet (Samsung AV devices control system network Samsung audio-video). This is unfortunately a slow painful process of learning, work now, but there are issues (egAnynet sometimes takes a long time to recognize peripherals). I wish the rear speakers are wireless. You can buy a cheap Samsung noted wireless receiver to correct the problem.
Now the good part. Is a 2010 model! Not 09 not 08:) The price you get a Blu-ray Home Theater iPod Dock + + + FM + Internet. It produces high quality, that really fills my small apartment. I like the option to automatically calibrate the sound that defines the sound from the loudspeaker at a distance. I get crystal clear FM and an iPod dock works perfectly with the iPod Nano. Let's be honest, it is difficult to get a decent home theater system all the accessories for about $ 400.
Tips
1) buy an HDMI cable and optical audio cable from Amazon (not supplied with the unit), shopping for money for the insane.
2) I read the guide Anynet, but Google's Anynet + Guide to get it. You can save a lot of time!
3) Prices vary HT C5500 $ 50 each side - look for the best price.

Decent HTIB but sloppy bass
Pros: fills my media room very nicely
reasonably priced
looks nice
Cons: remote does not fully integrate with my samsung tv
the bass is very flabby - almost sounds like the bass speaker is dislodged sometimes
there are newer models out with an integrated wifi (I bought this unit an the new version showed up in costco two months later.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this HTIB.

iPod Dock Alphabetical Order Only?
Fantastic sound, and the Internet TV is going to provide a lot of fun.
One issue that seems to have carried over from previous Samsung products seems to be the iPod playback. It looks like the songs are listed and played in Alphabetical order only. This includes Playlists as well as Albums. An album's songs play in alphabetical order only, really? I've been reading reviews of previous systems and this seems to be a common thread. This is hopefully something that can be fixed in a firmware release.
Other than that, the Anynet+ feature is going to take some getting used to. There is a lot going on when switching between sources on my Samsung tv and also this HTIB. A little more practice and hitting the message boards will clear all this up.
Very happy overall so far.

sleek design and nice features
I spent a solid week researching which surround sound system to buy when i stumbled upon this one. I was also looking at the samsung bd 1250 which was rated pretty good buy cnet. Im guessing this system is an upgrade since its the 2010 model so i assume that means its better. It was delivered yesterday and after getting everything set up im happy to say im satisfied with my purchase. i was sort of worried since there were no reviews out yet due to it just being released. It sounds really good. I haven't had a chance to play around with the online features yet, but im planning on using the built in netflix streaming. Be careful though if you plan to mount the speakers on stands, since it only has a keyhole in the back instead of screw holes.
