Earlier the company was limited to the entry level Mobile phones and now it is creating wonders in smartphone world.Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is made to support 2G Network with GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G Network with HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100. the display is Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen showcasing 16M colors with a size of 480 x 800 pixels or 4.0 inches. It has multiple features like Gorilla Glass display, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Touch-sensitive controls, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Swype text input.The Internal memory is 8 GB/16GB storage which includes 512 MB RAM, 2GB ROM. It has the option of Card slot of the type microSD which can support expandable memory up to 32GB. Here you will also find 5 MP camera having 2592 x 1944 pixels resolution. It comes with autofocus and other Features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection.The OS provided in Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair). The CPU used is ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor. The basic messaging features include SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM, RSS. The Browser include HTML. It also has FM radio with RDS to increase its entertainment quotient.
