Samsung Omnia 7 Comes with Xbox LIVE Gaming

The Samsung Omnia 7 was one of the first Windows Phone 7 handsets to see release, and incorporates many of the high class features found in some of Samsung's other Omnia handsets. With a 4" Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen the Omnia 7 offers high quality visuals with over 16 million colours and a high resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. By running on capacitive technology the screen provides a higher amount of responsiveness and allows for multitouch input gestures.

The Windows Phone 7 operating system offers a unique tiled homepage that makes it easier to access the core features of the phone. It also comes with excellent gaming through Xbox LIVE support, a feature unique to Windows Phone 7 phones. The Windows Phone 7 operating system is powered by a speedy 1GHz processor and comes with hardware graphics acceleration.

The Omnia 7 comes with fantastic messaging features. Threaded SMS is supported, as is email (including MS Exchange) and instant messaging clients. The Omnia 7 comes with an excellent HTML browser with Bing search included. High speed 3G and Wi-Fi connections are available so that you can access the web in virtually all situations. The Omnia 7 also comes with Facebook integration so that you can keep up to date with your contacts through this popular social network.

The Omnia 7 features a 5 megapixel camera that includes an LED flash and software features like geo-tagging. The camera also supports 720p HD video and the Omnia 7 comes with either 8GB or 16GB internal storage for all videos and other content. The media player on the Omnia 7 comes with fantastic music and video support, although there is unfortunately no microSD card slot present. However, you can transfer media content to the phone via microUSB. There is also an FM radio with RDS present, so that you can listen to the latest music while out and about.

Xbox LIVE is perhaps one of the highlights of the Windows Phone 7 operating system, for avid gaming enthusiasts anyway. There are a wealth of high quality games that are far superior to anything found on Android or iOS, and WP7 phones can be connected to a standard Xbox console.

As a Windows Phone 7 handset the Omnia 7 comes with excellent support for many of Microsoft's professional features. This includes MS Exchange email and a Microsoft Office document editor is available on the Omnia 7 allowing you to update your documents, spreadsheets and presentations while commuting to work. The Omnia 7 also comes with its own organiser.

While the Omnia 7 provides some excellent professional features it still provides plenty enough to entertain. There are excellent music and video features available and the Omnia 7 benefits from Xbox LIVE support, making it perfect for casual gamers. With a fantastic screen and superb messaging features, the Omnia 7 performs well for all graphical enterprises and will be enjoyable for all means of communication.
