Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite is an appealing touchscreen phone and Samsung has done its best efforts to provide all possible features at such a low price. And as the name suggests, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a music oriented phone provided with an array of excellent lineaments and runs over Symbian OS v9.4 with a powerful CPU with ARM 11 434 MHz processor.
Physical Representation
Samsung has designed its phone with TFT resistive touchscreen which measures 3 inches and displays 262k colours with resolution of 240 x 400 Pixels. It can be placed or carried without any trouble as weighing just 93.5 grams and measures 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm. Some special features to support the touchscreen are like accelerometer sensor, handwriting recognition and smart unlock.
Comparatively Nokia has manufactured its phone 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen which provides 640 x 320 Pixels resolution and 16 Million colours. It also sports full & Mini QWERTY keyboard with accelerometer sensor, handwriting recognition and proximity sensor for auto turn-off. This widget carries 109 grams weight and its measurements are 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm.
Multimedia Attributes
Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite comes with 3 megapixel camera with Flash, Auto Focus and Smile Detection. And here you will get no video call camera. On the contrary, its challenger is fitted with 3.2 MP camera with Carl Zeiss Optics and so many latest features. In addition, another videocall camera has been given to it.
Being a music focused phone Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is equipped with a decent music player with lots of advanced music features such as Album Graphics Display, 8 Band Graphic Equaliser, Bass Booster, Stereo Widening, Media Bar Touch Screen etc. Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite also has a music player that supports MP3, AAC & WMA formats and has Shazam Find Music service but of course it cant beat its competitor. Apart from these, both of the devices have FM radio with RDS and video player.

Both of these contenders are imparted with document viewer and WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser but additionally, the 5800 XpressMusic also has RSS feeds while you cant find it on its challenger. Furthermore, GPRS, EDGE, USB and Bluetooth are commonly featured on both of the phones but Nokia has given some extra connectivity features like HSCSD, 3G HSDPA and WLAN Wi-Fi with UPnP technology. The S5230 Tocco Lite has no GPS feature but 5800 XpressMusic boasts assisted GPS Navigation with Nokia Maps Applications.
