Samsung UN55C6800 55-Inch LED Review

I have had the 55-6800 since the start of September and that i love it! 1st, The freight company they used was nice. the motive force arrived right on time--the starting of the delivery window--and it took six days from the day I ordered it (Friday) till it absolutely was delivered (Thursday). I get plenty of things from Amazon however this was the primary time I've ordered one thing that needed freight delivery. i believed the motive force would simply deliver it however he came in and opened the box, put in the stand, and created certain it worked before he left--excellent service!

The picture is nice. Settings are highly configurable thus if you're not pleased with the method the image appearance, there are unlimited choices for changing it. I found some suggestions on-line, and additionally used the Video necessities disc--and eventually found the settings that job best on behalf of me and my setting. Some have commented regarding the "Soap Opera Effect" when it involves the Auto Motion and settings. Those too are highly configurable--or you'll flip it off. I even have settled on the "clear" setting that just about eliminates the effect--but some adore it. The Precise Dimming looks to figure nice furthermore and is additionally configurable underneath the "Smart LED" setting. Some have commented regarding "flashing" where lightweight evidently shows at the perimeters of dark scenes. This model does not exhibit any flashing--at least not my TV anyway. throughout a wonderfully black scene, the entire screen is black--no extraneous lightweight anywhere. The blacks are terribly black--as black because the frame round the TV.

The online apps work as advertised furthermore. I even have a Samsung Blu Ray Player (6500) and use that for Netflix streaming however I even have used Pandora and Amazon on Demand with the TV and it works fine. i am unsure why Amazon isn't a Blu Ray app however apparently it's not on that model anyway. The Blu Ray provides integration with my A-V receiver--the TV doesn't--so I choose to use the Blu Ray player. however it's nice to own the apps on the TV furthermore.

This model (along with the 6900 that is actually similar to this one) is that the prime of the road Samsung that's not 3D. it's 2 prime finish options that don't seem to be found along on the other non-3D set--Precise Dimming and one hundred twenty hrz refresh. thus this on behalf of me was the TV to urge since i do not wish 3D. I feel this TV could be a nice alternative at an excellent worth.
