Connecting most of these sponsorships to eco-friendly causes and vehicles, Honda presented the Honda Hybrid Zone, with the CR-Z sport hybrid coupe, Insight hybrid sedan and the Civic Hybrid sedan. The three-day music festival in Austin, Texas featured more than 120 bands among eight stages and crowds of more than 200,000. "It was a natural fit for Honda to return to ACL with an even bigger presence this year considering our deep commitment to environmental initiatives and long-standing contribution to the arts community," Tom Peyton, senior manager of Honda national advertising, said.

Honda didn't miss the chance to set up a nice display with the Honda green line. Not only could fans view the cars, but there were eco-minded activities like a mobile charging center that was powered by bicycles. Honda also gave away a new 2011 CR-Z sport hybrid coupe to one lucky fan.

Honda has really focused recently on green initiatives and seems to have a lot more up its proverbial sleeves for the coming years. In the meantime, buyers can enjoy these green models and many other models that are have some great fuel economy. The auto maker has developed technologies for hydrogen cars with zero emissions, solar-powered cars, and, of course, hybrids and electrics.
