Saraswati Global Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing and export of superior quality Hand knotted and hand tufted wool,wool silk,pure silk and contemporary rugs and carpets since 1986.It is established in India's famous Pink city Jaipur. Saraswati Global Ltd. is among the very few companies in India which has in house production facilities including Spinning of Yarn, Wool Dyeing, Designing, Weaving and Finishing etc.

PRODUCTION PROCESS The process of making knotted carpets is long and tedious. Sheep are washed in spring before cutting the wool. They are then shorn and the wool after being re washed is converted to yarn. For a silk carpet, the silk fiber is converted to yarn. The yarn is finally dyed in required colors.

9.WEAVING- The loom gives shape to the carpet-weaver's creative expressions.
The wrap threads are stretched on the loom vertically.
Each pile is knotted manually to the wrap threads following the design
The weft thread is inserted when a row of knots is completed.
After knotting the whole carpet, the pile is shorn to the required length.
The carpet is finally washed or treated with chemicals as and when requires.
Quality
The quality of a rug is judged by its density. The more the number of knots per square inch, better the quality. Dense carpets are more durable and have finer and more detailed patterns. A very good quality knotted rug may have 350 to 1000 knots per square inch depending upon the material.

11.FINISHING PROCESS : Finishing is a meticulous process which requires skillful craftsmanship. For zero defect in pieces , quality is being checked minutely at every step.
a. THUKAI To correct the border, design; Increase or reduce the size.

c. RAW CLIPPING-First of all check the Pile ,in a unfinish piece pile are not similar. Therefore according to pile and quality use the raw clipping.
d. BIRAI- Berai to make it even
e.WASHING- Washing of a carpet is done to bring sheen and luster, therefore, it is as important as coloring, designing and weaving. this is the final stage of carpet weaving and hence requires a lot of careful handling. Washing is done with water mixed with soap, bleaching powder and other natural chemicals. After washing, the carpet is kept in the sunlight for drying
