A second issue is called latency. It's a very slight pause in the transfer of information. The only time latency becomes a problem is when you need to give an instantaneous response like when you are playing live online games, or trying to time a bid on an auction to happen just as it expires.

Despite these issues, satellite internet is far superior to dial-up internet. Now you can live in the country and still enjoy the benefits of fast internet with satellite high speed internet access. There is sure to be a satellite company who can set you up with a plan to suit your needs.
