In today's economy all of us are looking for ways to save money. Luckily it is chic to be cheap now! One area to save money in is the cleaning products used to keep our homes in great shape.
There is more than just using coupons that can result in an annual cost savings for cleaning products. Most cleaning products have instant but not long-lasting results. Look for products that have those long-lasting results and do multiple tasks too.
Take an assessment of the cleaning products stored in your home. Is the kitchen cabinet under the sink stuffed to the gills with bottles to do every task? Are their metal polishes for each type of metal? Does one product clean and another polish and yet another seal in the results?
The bathroom cabinets are another place to harbor many bottles that perform many cleaning tasks. How many bathrooms do you have and do you have a bottle of each cleaner in each bathroom? How long do these bottles of product last? How long do their results last? Do they clean multiple surfaces or just a few?
Take the inventory of what you have. Count the bottles that are the same. Write down the cost of each bottle. Give an assessment of how long each bottle lasts and how many bottles or cans of each you buy in a year. Now do the math! It is astounding how much money we pay out for a clean home!
Do the products that you currently buy store well or do you end up throwing out clogged or broken aerosol cans or dried up polishes? Is that really worth the price of the original bottle or can if you cannot even use the entire amount it contains?

Have you bought stock in a company that makes paper towels so you can recoup part of your monetary outlay? We need to change our paradigms about cleaning. We can no longer afford to be a throw-away society.

When washing microfiber remember to wash with jeans or some other fabrics that do not shed lint. That way your microfiber cloths will last and last and perform like the day you bought them. The size of 16cm by 16cm is ideal for home cleaning but they can also be used in auto and industrial cleaning. You don't have to keep buying the cloths as you do paper towels. Remember this motto, reuse, recycle and repeat. Multitasking and long-lasting cleaners save money and space in your home. A permanent cloth such as microfiber can multitask and be reused. There is no money wasted there.
