Luxury honeymoons are by no means a new concept. Whether newlyweds choose to honeymoon in Italy or Hawaii, Thailand or Australia, this is the chance to take time out after a hectic wedding schedule and to enjoy total relaxation time together away from day-to-day responsibilities. The good news is that there are ways to alleviate honeymoon costs. In this modern age where many couples live together before marriage, one increasingly popular idea is to suggest honeymoon contributions instead of wedding gifts. Not only does this make financial sense but also means that wedding guests understand that they are paying for the bride and groom to spend the night in a luxury hotel or take a hot-air balloon ride which seems far more personal and exciting than bestowing actual cash.

This simple, short ceremony can be easily combined with a beach package holiday for a stress-free but extremely meaningful escape.
