School Clocks In The Classroom

The administration side of a school is frequently confronted with daunting tasks

. Decisions need to be made, and usually in a promptly manner. Whether it is taking care of a disciplinary issue, balancing the athletic departments budget, or anything in between; school administrators have more of a fast-pace job than most people give them credit for. By constant bombardment from variables that make their job more difficult, such as the current unpredictable economy and an increasing pressure to use greener business practices, it is no surprise that these education professionals have a tendency to fail to see certain wise investments for what they are. A synchronized clock system from a reputed company is one that gets by right under their noses. It is easy to toss clocks into the afterthought category. Its just a clock, right? All it does it tell me the time, why should I worry about upgrading and spend extra money when I have all these other issues to worry about? These are questions that someone, who is uninformed about the benefits that come with an integrated clock system, would say. The irony with school administrators holding these views is that upgrading a schools clock system can, in fact, relieve them of other worries. Schools that possess an integrated, synchronized clock system promote increased efficiency, both for their wallets and for their planet. To their surprise, spending a little bit extra for a durable, reliable system actually ends up saving money for any kind of industry.

School administrators arent completely off with their assertion towards the stereotypical view of clocks. They didnt use to have components that resemble features of a computer, such as IP synchronization. Clocks didnt always auto-correct themselves and send emails to their owners when a malfunction has been detected. People that lack the knowledge of advancements of what, until fairly recently, had been viewed as an expendable product cant be too harshly ridiculed for taking its value for granted. Similar to how virtually every major NFL analyst put future-Carolina Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton, in the same pool as the rookies he entered the league with and expected him to play like an average rookie, many people also share a commonality of being unaware of the existence of the sophisticated time management systems that fall out of the generalization of the average clock. It is understandable to assume that an everyday, corner-cutting economically-priced clock system should not be expected to display a substantial return on investment, at least not enough for it be viewed with significant importance. Contrapositive to that presupposition, purchasing a clock system from a company that has a well-deserved reputation has traditionally lead to positive results for the customer. Schools want to save money and go their community that they go green. Two birds can be killed with one stone by implementing an IP clock system. Only one wire is required to hook up, power, and fully synchronize an entire IP clock system. Talk about saving a buck or two and looking environmentally friendly while doing so! As stated above, IP clocks possess a feature that allows synchronization among the clocks in a system in another way than the standard usage of repeaters. This can especially beneficial for larger schools that have 2 or more floors because uniform synchronization among IP clocks is not dependant on signals being sent from repeaters reaching each clock. The time for each clock is simply set up on a web interface, and whatever time that is entered for each clocks slot will correspond to each respective clock. One would have to admit, these characteristics are just a tad bit different than the outdated generalizations people had about clocks and their benefit to establishments

The fact of the matter is that the clock has come a long way from its early origins as just a time-teller that needed constant adjusting. Many executives of all industries, with emphasis on the economically-drained education sector, fall victim to making a questionable business decision by not placing a greater importance on the organizations time system. What makes it questionable is that there are many instances where the executives wont even consider a clock if it passes a relatively low limit that they make for themselves. By avoiding a clock system with a household name merely because it is a little higher than the lower quality value clocks, they miss the big picture. With a cheaper clock of inferior quality, there will be more instances where some clocks malfunction. These maintenance fees add up, certainly not doing what it was intended to do; be a cost-saving alternative. With an IP clock system, one knows what he or she is getting, a durable set of clocks that will last long and rarely need maintenance. They help save money and energy that is wasted unnecessarily with an ordinary clock system. Its a product that everyone can depend on, an attribute that all executives should value as important!
