. Many people associate this profession with flasks and different substances which are of no use for people. Frankly speaking, those who think so are absolutely wrong. Science helps people lead a modern life and do not think about many different things which bothered people in ancient times, like light, fire, and many others. This article is devoted to the problem of science careers and the profit they make for the society. The profit scientists make for people 1. Scientists help people remain healthy. All pharmaceutical medicines are created owning to the work of scientists. 2. It is universally known that natural resources are limited on the earth. Thanks to scientists' work people can consume synthetic products without exhausting limited natural resources (e.g. fuel). 3. Owning to the work of scientists people can spend less time on washing, contacting others, driving to the place of destination, etc. People can use the benefits of the modern life. Most of such benefits were not available for people one hundred years ago. 4. In fact, scientists make human life easier. Living in the world where everything is available, students have an opportunity to know a lot of things, visit different countries, fly like birds (airplanes) and swim like fish (submarines). In conclusion, those who have decided to connect their life with any of the scientific careers should remember that their hard work will be rewarded. The benefits scientists create for people are inestimable. If people like to help others, if they cannot live without discoveries and if they want to be of service by all means, then the profession of a scientist is exactly what they need. It is a great feeling when one knows that he/she is helpful, that the life is not spent in vain.
