Scrapbooking done effectively with Proper Time Management
What do you do with your spare time? Do you pursue your hobbies and take a walk on the beach or through the park? When did you last sit for a while with your partner at the end of the day and discuss the book you are reading or your plans for next year's vacation? If it sounds impossible to have the time for such frivolities then you are not Managing your time wisely. If you plan your activities and discard everything that is a waste of time, you will be surprised at how much spare time you do have. When you try to do more than one thing at a time, you are actually dividing your attention and taking longer to complete each task. Know your limits and do not over commit yourself.
People function at different levels of efficiency at different times of the day. Do you do your most important and rewarding work during your peak efficiency hours? You need to determine when your most effective time is; early morning, after a break, after lunch or in the evening? Schedule your menial or unimportant tasks for your least productive times.
A first step to efficient Time Management is to create activity logs. From your logs you will soon see where you waste time on inconsequential activities and where you can improve on quality tasks. When compiling your activity log it is important to note your energy levels as well. In addition to your activity logs you need to have to-do list. Using the to-do list you can allocate tasks to activity times according to priority.
By employing good time management you will complete more important tasks, stress levels will be greatly reduced and you will ultimately have free time to pursue hobbies and quality family time. No longer will you feel like you are always rushing, always stressed, and still don't have enough time for the things in life that are most important to you. You will experience the exhilarating feeling of being in charge and being able to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
Time management is about getting more value out of your time and using it to improve the quality of your life.
