A few years back I stayed in the glorious old city of Edinburgh with a bit of leisure

time on my hands and I resolved to have a look round for a couple of interesting things to do. Not having any vehicle with me I needed to locate activities I would do walking not very far from my lodgings. Whilst I wandered in the area I could not help but notice the number of ghost tours which were offered and so I thought I would test a few to ascertain why it has developed into an approved and favored style of pastime. I also thought I will likely be informed as to the historical past of the town at the same time.

The first one happened in the undergound areas which are in fact enclosed, arched supports for the South Bridge which spans the land between the Royal Mile and the University. There were countless more walks available, most of which reckoned to be THE scariest tour and I have no doubt that weird things do occur on some of them. Eventually they all contribute to the tourist economy of the city a concept I find much more intriguing maybe I will jot down a paper concerning it one day!
