A study by Florida research firm Policom says that the Seattle-Tacoma economy is the strongest in the country, beating out 366 other metropolitan areas. According to Policom, the highest-ranked areas have had rapid, consistent growth in both size and quality for an extended period of time.

Seattle is a great place for business. The city's highly skilled and educated workforce makes Seattle a thriving area for information technology and biotechnology companies, traditional manufacturers, small businesses, and other major industries.
