They consist of Merrill Gardens at the University, Merrill Gardens at Queen Anne, Merrill Gardens at West Seattle, Faerland Terrace on Minor Avenue, Merrill Gardens at Northgate, Northgate Plaza, and Merrill Gardens at Admiral Heights.
Across the Merrill Gardens chain of retirement communities, retirees may find everything from independent living to assisted living to Alzheimer's and Dementia care. Originally a Seattle timber company, R.D. Merrill inaugurated its retirement community subsidiary in 1993.
