Second Honeymoon At Panoramic Sea Resort Alleppey
Ive been to many places but none was as beautiful as Alleppey
. The backwaters, culture, people and beaches everything was a treat to us. We were there for our second honeymoon and it was our dream to visit Kerala. It became reality when we both managed to get a week holiday from our respective companies.We booked our accommodations at Panoramic sea resort in Alleppey. Initially we thought of booking accommodations through an agent but as we were searching best beach resorts in Alleppey we came across this resort. We liked it because of its proximity to the beach which is right in front of the resort. Another reason we book the resort is managed by Panoramic Universal Limited (PUL), the same company where my brother used to work. I managed to get some discounts for our stay and this stay made me more interested in travelling.
The first thing which caught my attention was the boat race which was to be hosted in there. Nehru boat trophy is a sport which is very famous and I dont think anywhere else in India do we have or organize boat races. Its also called as snake boat race coz the boat are long enough and somewhat resembles like a snake, also known as Chundan vallam in their native language. Apart from snake boats, there are other types of boats who enter the races and it includes Churulam boats, Odi boats, Veppu boats, and Palliyodam. These races are witnessed by thousands of spectators and it the participants practice it more than 3 months before the event. There are many villagers who comes across from very long distance just to witness this race.

We spent here some of our best times. We would like to mention special thanks to panoramic sea resort that made our stay very comfortable and entertaining. There is no need to mention it but still it was my brother who got us this accommodation at cheap rates from Panoramic Universal Ltd. (PUL).
