The secret to golf club head speed is efficient use of energy
. Golf clubs are specially designed to conduct the energy that is produced from your swing down into one focal point. That focal point of course is the 'sweet spot' on the face of the golf club. When you hit that spot with just the right timing and in just the right way, there is very little waste of energy. In fact it often feels effortless, because most of the energy was successfully transferred to the ball and very little reverberated back up the shaft to your hands and body.
Loosen your grip applies to those who tend to grip their best golf clubs too tightly, and especially to those who slice the ball. First you should rotate both of your hands clockwise around your grip, turning your right palm out. Second you should grip the club in the base of your fingers, not your palms. The shoulders play a huge role in generating more club head speed. You need to have a straight back and turn from the back so that your shoulders stay square with each other, but 'spin' on the axis of your spine. The more you turn your shoulders back, the more potential energy you are 'winding up' in your back muscles. You want to try to get your back facing the target.
To increase club head speed you need to generate torque by 'winding' your upper torso back while your hips stay relatively still. Flexibility is important here, and it's more important to have back flexibility than it is to simply 'swing harder'. Even if your back is inflexible it's still important that you do not turn your hips back in the backswing with r11 combo set. It's better to have a short backswing that turns from the base of the spine than it is to have a longer backswing where the hips are turning.
The feeling of balance starts at address and starts with your feet. You don't want all your weight on your toes or on your heels. It should be evenly distributed. Another thing that will affect your balance is how wide or narrow your stance is.
