A Singapore Employment Pass is a type of work permit that allows foreigner to live and work in Singapore
. Foreign Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Managing Directors, Shareholders of Singapore companies who wish to relocate to Singapore to run their company operations may apply for an Employment Pass (EP). The Employment Pass does not fall under any quota system nor is there a monthly levy charge for Employment Pass.
A Singapore Employment Pass is secured in Ministry of Manpower (MOM), it is given a validity of 1 to 2 years and it is renewable as long as the employment of the applicant is still present. An Employment Pass allows a hassle-free immigration checkpoint as you travel in and out of Singapore. In the long run, an opportunity of securing a Permanent Residence status can be made available for Singapore Employment Pass holders.

Singapore Employment Pass:
1.Fixed monthly salary of at least S$2,500
2.Generally, a recognized Diploma/Degree qualification from a reputable university is expected.

Along with these requirements are the basic documents which should all be made available in the English language. It is required to have the translation by a legal translation services firm. These documents are:

An Employment Pass is also categorized in three categories. There is P1 Pass given for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than S$7,000, P2 Pass given for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than S$3,500 and up to S$7,000, and Q1 Pass given for applicants earning a fixed monthly salary of more than S$2,500 and he/she possesses recognized qualifications.
Once the application has been approved, the following requirements should also be complied in order to collect the Employment Pass:
1.A copy of the IPA letter
2.Recently taken passport size photograph
3.Original passport with the entry embarkation cards
4.Medical exam report* (if the In-Principle Approval states that you require one, which can be done in your own country through an established clinic or hospital)
5.Any other documents that are requested in the approval letter
