Seattle is a beautiful city in the Northwestern region of the United States

. Here are some of the popular attractions in the area to keep you busy on your next vacation.

The 5th Avenue Theatre is the place to go when you want to see a big show. The decorations inside are gorgeously ornate and have been designed with brilliant details.

This gorgeous theatre has a long history in Seattle from its beginnings in 1926. It holds the hearts of many for its beautiful Chinese replication of the dome in Bejing's Forbidden City.

Music and vocals are always at their best. The orchestra is equally enchanting with its beautiful harmonious blends.

Gas Works Park is located on Lake Union in this city with 20 acres that were originally a plant to manufacture gas from coal. Later, it was converted to crude oil, and this plant became obsolete in the 1950s when natural gas became available.

It was purchased by the city of Seattle in the year 1962 and was opened to the public in the year 1975. This storage park takes advantage of the old gasworks machinery that was made obsolete decades ago.

Now painted bright and cheery colors, these old structures are great for climbing up and over while you enjoy the majestic view of the city. Kerry Park Viewpoint is the quintessential view of downtown Seattle where you can enjoy sitting on the wall, dangling your feet over the edge and watch airplanes as they fly up Puget Sound, make a turn over Elliott Bay and head into the land at Sea Tac.

This has to be one of the best views of the skyline as well. This is a sight you will definitely not want to miss out on.

Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery is a fun place to visit with plenty of salmon to be seen most times of the year. There's a Visitor Center with exhibits and you can go on a self guided tour of the hatchery and nature walk outside as well as picnic places to rest at; come and enjoy the beautiful fish at this hatchery.

Also, the business Let's Tour Seattle guarantees that their four hour bus tour of the area will be the highlight of your visit. It is three hours packed with all the sights you came expecting to see as well as what you did not expect to see.

It includes a one hour meal stop at Fisherman's Terminal where the Deadliest Catch boats are moored. This is a great way to see this wondrous city.

The Museum of Flight is where you can hang for hours and never get enough. There is plenty here that everyone will find something of interest no matter how many times you come.

Especially children can enjoy and explore the kids' flight zone. You can climb aboard the original Air Force One jet, a real Concorde supersonic aircraft, try a few Space Craft simulators, see a real Blackbird Spy Plane, try landing a Space Shuttle and learn fascinating facts of the history of flight.

This museum is a must see for those visiting the Seattle area. But, if you are a local, you will want to check it out as well.

Also, the Olympic Sculpture Park is an extension of the Seattle Art Museum and exists as a nine acre swath of public green space filled with various art installations and a pedestrian path that extends about half a mile towards Myrtle Edwards Park. In addition to the sculptures, you get a nice walk along the waterfront and some priceless shots of the area.

Come and enjoy a few minutes or stay for hours. Either way, you will not be disappointed.

Pike Place is where you will find gorgeous freshly cut flower bouquets, fresh fish, find foods and much more. Be sure to watch the flying fish as the fish vendors will even package your fish purchase in dry ice for your travels home.
