Accessories for women now include cases for their cell phone or a MP3 player. Think beyond hand bags. In fact, with the push to eliminate plastic shopping bags, consider a sturdy, decorative hold-all she can wash out after grocery shopping or having a swim.

When in doubt, hit the jewelry store. Husbands and boyfriends may feel like bracelets, rings and earrings are the stuff of relationship tests, but if you know your partner you will select well. If she values gems, just look for conflict free items. Then again, if shopping for diamonds means choosing whether or not to eat that month, costume jewelry can be colorful, tasteful and fun. This is also a better option if buying for a girlfriend of just a few short months, say on Valentines Day, or for a sister with a funky sense of humor.

Women have a reputation for being sentimental. If this is true of your daughter-in-law or best friend, support her desire to clean up the keepsakes with scrap booking supplies. The albums themselves sport a range of styles that announce their purpose as a baby book or wedding album. Stick-on accessories have become very clever, replicating daily, household tools or simply shimmering with gem-like flare.

Show appreciation for staff or a much loved boss with chocolate. Does she try to go green? Opt for fair trade organic, especially dark stuff that will be good for her heart. Add tickets to a chocolate festival or tour of a chocolate-making facility. As you can see finding gifts for her doesn't have to be that hard.
