The plays you get on your VIP page are also worthless compared to the plays you receive from inside the site itself. Nobody knows the exact ratio of effectiveness because Soundclick won't disclose that information. But just hear me when I say that the plays within the site are like money in your pocket.
If you know that, you're already three steps ahead of the game. That's why I wanted to share it with you before going on to more advanced stuff. But remember, whatever I tell you should never be enough. A good internet marketer is always on the search for ways to step up their profits.
The smartest thing that you can do for some quick plays within Soundclick is to go to the Forums within the site. These clicks are obviously from within the site and they are free to collect. All you have to do is become a member of the forums and start participating in the discussions.
The member pages give the second best promotion. I think they might even actually match in effectiveness as the plays you get within Soundclick. There aren't a whole lot of artists on SC that use their member pages much, but if you find some fans who do you should try to convince them to put your beats in their music player. It's easy and free for them to do and it'll add valuable plays to your site. If the producer is getting a lot of traffic to his Soundclick, being on his/her member page could seriously benefit you.
Again, Soundclick is a great tool for any musician, but it's especially kind to producers. Since there are 1,400,000 rappers signed in on that site, it's obvious that Soundclick carries a huge amount of your target audience with it.
