Not only is it important for visitors to come to your site and click around, but the amount of time they stay on each page will also be an important factor. What this tells the google search engines is this: if a visitor is spending a minute and a half or more on each web page, then there is a very high probability that they determine the site to be of value. In addition to this, the user is liable to give your page a thumbs up or thumbs down, thus influencing the rise and fall of your site among the competition.

3. The tried and true

The two factors listed above have taken on a great deal more importance, but they have not completely erased the old ways. They have, under any circumstances, altered them.
