We hate to say it, but Babel Fish is actually used by a lot of non-native English copy writing companies. Some actually do hire people who are fairly proficient with the English language, while others hire people who don't speak a word of it, then feed it through translating software and give you the muddled results.

It's up to you, it's your dime, it's your business, and yes, native English speaking writers are going to charge a little more than non-native English speakers, but they can guarantee you readable, coherent content. You want copy writing that brings business in, not writing that scares everyone away. Let's be honest, it's really a crap shoot trying to get great content in any language out of someone who doesn't speak it as their first language, or in some cases even speak it at all in the first place. If you want good English writing, hire a good English writer.
