Marketing on the Internet is not the same with other type of marketing.


When marketing on the web, many people seem to do a lot of activities, but with no visible return. This could problem is all too common, and could be traced back to one reason: focusing on the wrong activity.

Why are they focusing on the wrong activity?

If you have been around the Internet marketing playing field, you can tell just how much craps are laying around, and how many people enjoy picking them up along the way, at no cost. I am not saying that free information is useless or bad, but a successful marketer friend used to tell me, "Cheap advice are not good, and good advice are not cheap!"


That is probably why he is so successful, despite having to pay for advice, even when he is not making money yet.

What could be the right activities to focus on then?

Here are a few of the items, so that you can kick things off right away:

1) Focus on learning how to produce your own product, or offer services within your own expertise. By doing this, you get better control of the price and back-end offer, where the money is really made.

2) Spend time developing an army of your own. By army, it does not mean armed men in uniforms, but build affiliate and lead. Once you have this system in place, you can summon their power whenever you are in need.

3) Find allies. The more you have them by your side, the better you will be. In online marketing, you gain them by working together, or better known as Join Venture' (JV). And there are a lot of opportunities for you to find good partners, so spend quality time looking for them.

4) Add more values to your skill. The best way to do this is to constantly add your knowledge through learning. Nowadays, there are good information materials, which over the time, you can easily recognize. If you have learned your lesson well, you know what to look for.

5) Learn to delegate. As your marketing and promotion efforts grow, there will come a time when you need to let others do certain task for you, in other words, you need to outsource. Successful marketers are doing this, and they outsource their task globally, not limited to local environment only.
