Several Ways The Mini Washer Dryer Is Mini

What do you think of when you hear mini washer dryer

? You think small, of course, but that's just a part of it. For one thing, it's mini meaning it's only one appliance, not a pair of appliances. For another, even if you just take one of the regular pair of appliances, it's smaller than that. Finally, it's mini meaning it's small enough to be moved around, unlike the usual washer and dryer sets.

The mini washer dryer takes up less space, but also steps out of the confines of needing dedicated outlets and a vent for the heat and lint.

So let's address the issue of space. Does it make a difference how much space it takes?

Of course it makes a difference. These combo units tend to run about 34" high x 24" wide x 24" deep. This is about the same footprint as a good sized television set, and small enough to put under a cabinet or in a closet! This is very different from your standard matched washer/dryer set, and can make all the difference for someone trying to squeeze a laundry appliance into a limited space.

This appliance is not simply a miniature version of the "grown up" washer and dryer!

The mini washer dryer is not the usual matched set of washer and dryer made tinier. It is in fact one item that handles both the washing task and the drying task. From the very beginning, therefore, the space required has been greatly reduced, and how the laundry is done has been significantly changed. The mini washer dryer goes beyond slashing the space in two, it's even smaller than that.

The amount of space it takes up is only part of it, because it can actually be moved around!

The mini washer dryer is geographically free, as it were. It does not have to stay in one place and use some special outlet and faucet. People whose circumstances have up to this point dictated doing laundry in a laundromat or laundry room now have options! This is being mini with substance. Wherever you have stored the unit when not in use, you just roll it to wherever you want it, quickly attach the hose and plug it in, and you're good to go!

It's not so much the amount of space the mini washer dryer takes up, it's the different way it's built. By being only one small unit that can be moved around, it creates something new. And this does not exhaust the features either!
