Putting out on the first date is not as taboo as it once was anymore. The modern way of thinking leans towards women being able to do so and not being looked down upon. But in the light of day putting out on the first date and having sex with your date will ultimately lead down an unsavoury road.

You set the standard right from the very outset by doing so. The man on the date will presume you are a fast girl and that everything in the relationship will be fast. It also shows a lack of self respect and men will look down upon this. Don't get me wrong they will still have sex with you. But if what you are looking for is a relationship then you won't get a stable one if you put out easily.

A guy will look for confidence and sexiness in a woman. But half of the interest they have in you is retained because you haven't given yourself away yet. You still have something they want and this intrigues them. It sounds sad to say but it is true that most men are just after getting laid as quickly as possible. This leaves women looking for someone who is up to a long term relationship.

So don't let them. Keep your dignity intact and your bed sheets undisturbed and you may just find yourself a man worth his salt.

It is more rewarding to get to know someone before sleeping with them. Or even starting a relationship with them. Going on several dates and maybe cooking each other dinner will ensure that you get to respect each other more, as well as getting to know each other more. By doing so you will increase the feelings you have when you do finally have sex.

It may be so however that the guy is literally dating you for one thing. And if this is the case then it doesn't really matter what you do, it will ultimately end in tears. But this is only a small percentage of men. So ensure that you respect yourself and there will be no reason why you won't find yourself in a strong stable relationship.

So sex on the first date is a big mistake. A definite clause in the first date should be that you don't put out. Keep your knickers on and you will give yourself the best chance of building a positive rapport with your man.
