Sexy in maternity clothes?The short and simple answer to this question many years ago would have been a straight out "NO!" I remember seeing maternity wear which either looked like big tents, unflattering overalls or dresses with little ducks and peter-pan collars on them. I remember thinking that I would probably have to hide for the next nine months should I ever find myself pregnant. How things and especially fashion has changed! Thankfully, these days there are plenty of options for pregnant mums to look sexy and show off their new voluptuous figure.

In fact the range of maternity fashion out there not only allows you to be fashionable but also enables you to find clothes to maintain your own unique style. For those of us who now enjoy showing off our new naturally enhanced bust, empire line dresses and tops are perfect. The empire line replaces your waistline to give you shape and allows extra room for your bump to grow. Strappy and sleeveless dresses in this style are prefect for a more casual look on the weekends. Maternity wrap dresses which feature a belt under the bust achieve the same effect and are often a good choice for work.
Thanks to the joys of jersey materials and lycra, there are a great many more styles can be adapted for maternity clothing these days. T-shirt dresses can simultaneously hug your figure and be comfortable to wear. By teaming them with a pair of maternity leggings, you can wear them in winter or summer.

I'm a bit clumsy myself, so I found myself wearing wedges while I was pregnant, just to make sure I was a bit more stable.

Not only are you more likely to find a l large range of clothing (as maternity shops tend to be scattered all over the place), but you can also score yourself a bargain. I would strongly suggest typing in "maternity sale" into google and doa local search so you don't have to pay too much for postage. You should be able to find a pretty good selection
So, it seems it is not just possible to look sexy while you're pregnant but also easy. In fact, I remember a friend telling me a story about how when she was heavily pregnant, she was chatted up by a certain famous Australian cricketer. (I think we can take a good guess who this might be!) The story is a little bit "Eeew" but also a bit funny and its nice to know that while we might not be feeling particularly sexy ourselves when we've got a huge belly, that there are those who may be admiring us from afar (or not so far)
