You have probably heard all the mottos and different slogans associated with Shakeology: "The healthiest meal of the day", "Acts like a salad but tastes like a dessert" or my favorite: "healthy meal in a glass". But what really convinced me to start taking Shakeology as a meal replacement of a healthy snack daily was when I saw a video of what doctors had to say about it. What Are The Ingredients In Shakeology?

There are over 70 different ingredients that include vitamins, minerals, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and many more. It also contains whey protein as well as other essential amino acids. It also contains what is called a blend of super fruits. For example:

Camu-Camu

Acai

Goji Berry,

Bilberry

Blueberry

Pomegranate

It also contains wheat grass, barley grass, oat grass and flax seed. I mean, I could go on and on about the ingredients but it would take me all day and you don't really care about all of them, do you?

Like I said, after I heard what doctors were saying about this meal replacement shake that's when I got interested. First of all, it's been proven super effective for rapid weight loss. People are reporting 20 pounds or more in weight loss, reduction in bad cholesterol, lowering risk for heart disease. These findings were the results of a 90 day study.

OK, now a few things to consider... Shakeology comes in 2 flavors: Greenberry and Chocolate. I have only tried Chocolate and it is delicious. I have been using it as a mid morning snack or whenever I feel like eating something sweet. Each shake is 140 calories unless you add other ingredients. I have found that adding frozen strawberries or blueberries creates great tasting smoothies.

Where Can I Buy Shakeology?

Look, Shakeology can only be purchased online through authorized Beachbody retailers. In other words, be cautious with craigslist and even ebay scams. Some people object to the cost which comes out at around $4 per day. Which in reality is not that much. People are spending a lot more each trip to their favorite coffee house each morning for a beverage and a muffin that doesn't come close to the healthy benefits that Shakeology will bring them.
