Shannen Doherty - The One and Only Badass

Shannen Doherty, a Hollywood wildcat best known for her roles as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210 - both past and present versions - as well as Heather Duke in Heathers and Prue Halliwell on Charmed isn't just known as an actress. She's also known as a badass - one of LA's leanest, meanest celebrities that you do not want to mess with.

Harbouring close friendships with the likes of similarly snarky celebs such as Perez Hilton, Shannen Doherty has spent many a year under the label of Hollywood Badass, but is it an accolade that's truly deserved? Sure, she's known for her fiery temper and lightning fast tongue, but if you were being hounded by the press at every moment whenever you stepped out of your house, wouldn't you get a bit angry every now and then?

While Doherty has made efforts over the years to tell people that she is truly not as evil as some people think, that hasn't stopped her from occasionally embracing her badass identity with open arms. Taking the role as host in reality television shows like Scare Tactics, where Doherty uses hidden camera stunts to scare the daylights over hapless victims, and Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty, where vengeful men and women get Doherty to deliver a message to their significant others of "you're dumped", it's clear that this celebrity is more than capable of using her reputation to good effect. And now, with the upcoming release of a memoir, what better title could Doherty give it other than "Badass"?

However, while the book promises a delicious insight into the life of Hollywood's finest, Shannen has revealed that it is by no means a name and shame like some other celebrities have made. She doesn't want to look bitter, though the chances are that a few of her better known Hollywood enemies might be mentioned once or twice in poorly-veiled disguises. As the book isn't slated for release until September, we'll just have to wait and see - but at least there's plenty of Shannen on TV to keep fans sated until her book arrives on the shelves.

With new episodes of 90210 showing, as well as reruns of witchy drama Charmed and the occasional showing of Doherty's reality TV shows, there's bound to be a Sky offer ideal for Doherty fans.
