1.) Resting - Don't eat anything too late at night and be sure to get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep.
2.) How You Exercise - Firstly, DEFINITELY make sure you build lean muscle, and secondly, I recommend more higher intensity workouts such as circuit training, incline treadmill, or sprinting for an example.
3.) How You Drink Water - Drink ICE COLD water and ensure you get 1/2 your body-weight in ounces each day. Also, I recommend that you drink water consistently throughout the day (don't wait until you're thirsty).
4.) What You Eat - The best foods to eat in order to increase your metabolism are foods that are high in protein, fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Foods such as those will also help curb your hunger pangs and cravings as well!
5.) How You Eat - Eat foods more frequently throughout the day, and the greatest secret I found out that REALLY made a huge difference with how quickly I lost weight and burned fat was to eat nutrients in rotating patterns each day to confuse my metabolism. This ultimately led to me losing over 50 pounds, I lost 4 inches off my waistline, and I FINALLY got rid of love handles and flattened my stomach... in 8 weeks... permanently!
