. This vibrant new city within the city accommodates a number of offices, a verity of shops, restaurants, cafs, hotels and theatres.

Situated in Tokyo's central city, this extraordinary new city was completely built and revealed to the world in 2005. In the early ages, Shiodome used to be a marshy wetland in the Edo Period, it was then however cultivated over the years and today it serves as a city where business and economy thrives. Shiodome Shiosite is home to a great number of skyscrapers such as the 51 storeyed, Caretta Shidome that houses one of Tokyo's leading advertising agencies, a musical theatre, a range of stores, restaurants, cafes, a sky restaurant on the top floors and a museum that showcases advertising essentials.

The city also boasts of skyscrapers that houses the Nippon Television headquarters (One of Tokyo's premier television networks), Nippon Television Tower and a number of other offices, shopping malls and tourist lodges.

Shiodome Shiosite is also home to one of Tokyo's most prestigious railway lines connecting Tokyo with Yokohoma. The Shiodome Station was however, renovated and converted into a massive freight terminal, which now serves as the main method of transportation to and from the city of Shiodome.

Visitors travelling to the city of Tokyo will be in for a delightful experience. With an assortment of shopping outlets, dining options, vibrant nightlife and attractions, this city is probably one of the best places to visit when in Japan.
