Thousands of people every day are making the choice of making a voluntary change

from a diet of fatty, preservative filled and artificial foods to those natural foods that instead are very healthy and delicious. Many of those people have also elected to cut out gluten from their diets, and these people claim that since the gluten is out of their systems they feel better than they ever have before. They also feel more energetic, they lose weight and they are much healthier too, of course. Although some people have a sensitivity to gluten or even suffer apparent allergic reactions to the substance, many others are voluntarily skipping the ingredient in order to feel better and be healthier overall.

It is the belief of tons of people that gluten in foods that are not natural foods had actually been making them feel very heavy, groggy, tired and just generally lousy. More people than ever before are aware of this change in diet, and one percent of the entire United States population is thought to have celiac disease, which is an autoimmune disorder of the small intestine. The only way to treat this condition is to avoid gluten, which is a substance found in barley, rye, spelt, wheat and others. As the number of people who change to a diet without gluten rises, so too does the supply and variety of products that they can eat. Last year alone, more than 1,000 new products were made for the first time that were completely free of gluten.

There are many companies that are dedicated to making delicious foods that are natural and free of gluten, one of which is General Mills. It is becoming increasingly easy for people to find comparable substitutions to normal foods, and many more companies are following behind General Mills to make products that are healthy and safe. Some of these include Betty Crocker, who is offering all kinds of cake and cookie mixes and products that are gluten free. In Baltimore, pretzels that are gluten free are offered at Camden Yards to baseball fans and in Denver at Coors Field, an entire concessions stand is devoted to products that contain no gluten. There are tons of benefits and advantages that people find they gain from abstaining from gluten and eating delicious and safe natural foods such as better digestion, having more energy, increased ability to focus and losing weight, among many others.
