While most visitors take flights to Madrid, it is a must to visit the bus and train station at Principe Pio. Just above the station is a shopping mall where you can buy clothes, shoes, jewelry and much more.
There are many cheap international flights to this Spanish city and taking one of them will allow you to drop by at the citys flea market. The market, known as El Rastro, is held every Sunday and is located between two metro stations, namely Tirso de Molina and La Latina. The market is runs along the road of Ribera de Curtidores and you will vendors selling their wares from stalls and tables. While it will be hard to find some original Spanish things, but you can pick up t-shirts, knock-off jeans, fabric, leather purses and second hand goods.
Book lovers wanting to visit this city should immediately book their airline tickets, as it will allow them to visit the book market of Cuesta de Moyano. Located close to Retiro Park and the botanical gardens, the market is renowned for selling many books that are no longer in print.
