Short track skating has become an increasing popular sport
. Most feel this is because of the speeds and the potential of numerous crashes during a day of competition. Short track has been referred to as roller derby on ice or even NASCAR on ice, because of the chaotic appearance, crashes and the strategies used in this high-speed event. We are looking forward to watching Apolo Anton Ohno and the US short track skating team compete at the 2010 BC Winter Games!
