If you are determined to fill out your own Florida divorce papers because you truly cannot afford to get divorced any other way, then it is important to make sure you get the papers from a reliable source.

There are lots of dishonest people out there who sell divorce kits and divorce papers but who dont really have the legal knowledge or experience to make sure the kits are complete or the papers are right. The last thing you want to do is to buy your divorce papers from a company like this and end up spending money and not even being able to get divorced for the cash you spent.

Instead, be sure to get papers from an experienced and qualified attorney who makes the divorce papers available for a fee. While you won't get the benefit of legal advice in this case, you will at least have the best chance of having the paperwork correct.

The Dangers of a DIY Divorce

While you can get the divorce papers and fill them out in order to get divorced, especially if the papers come from an attorney, this doesn't mean that you should do this.

Filling out your own divorce papers puts you at risk of doing something wrong and of the divorce not going through. This can delay the end of your marriage, making it harder for you to start over and move on with your life.
