Articles can be re-purposed and used many times over. You can post to article directories and later to web 2.0 properties.

If you have written a few articles and want more visitors to your sites then you can simply make a few tweaks to your articles and and post them to social network sites like hubpages and others in the market.

Re-purpose your article and create more opportunities for people to click through to your site.

You can use articles for many things, use in e-mail, compile an e-book, write more lengthy articles, I hope you can see the possibilities here, articles have an unlimited shelf life and if you're resourceful there is really no limit to what you can do.
