I suppose that going through the pain of my parent's divorce was one of the things that made me so determined to save my own marriage
. Even after my husband presented me with divorce papers and told me he didn't love me anymore, I still would not admit defeat. It took a lot of work and effort to save the marriage, but it was worth it in the end. We are so much happier because of the work we did.
