Should You Build Your Network Of Readers First?

Building your network before you use it for creating business dollars is perhaps the best concept that Ive learned about affiliate marketing

. It works best when united with an already well-built social media network rather than creating a network that is from the start, a commercial endeavor. The traffic level of a social media network is imperative when it comes to adding on affiliate marketing opportunities. Whether it is a loyal following of blog readers and subscribers, your email list, Twitter connections, Facebook friends, and/ or some other social media network, the better your network the better youll do at motivating affiliate sales.

Its not just about the size of your network since this only part of what were talking about here. Also important is the strength and quality of the relationships that you have with your network/readers plus the amount of trust that they have in you. If you consistently help people and have been useful to them over a long time, theyre probably more likely to respond to your recommendations.

The other key part of your network is how relevant it is to the opportunity and how focused it is upon the concept that youre promoting. For example, I see some people on Twitter running tweets and statements to build their following numbers in a way that they just bring in new follower. The problem with this is they end up with a large but unfocused network and that isnt conducive to creating profitable affiliate marketing opportunities.

When building your network or social media, try to have a goal in mind for the type and quality of people, you are going to present business opportunities to in the future. This will make that transition from friends and followers to associates a much smoother business deal.
