Should you move on and go your own way after your husband cheats? You took your vows seriously on your wedding day and you feel more than a little betrayed by the fact that he was able to toss them away so carelessly.

The thing, you took your vows seriously and they involved so much more than just forsaking all others. They mentioned good times and bad. This may definitely be one of the bad times for your marriage but it definitely doesn't have to be the end for your marriage.

But, are you willing to take a risk on making your marriage work even though your husband cheated on you? Some women aren't able to do that. It's the one thing they just can't forgive. There's nothing wrong with that. You just need to figure out exactly where you stand BEFORE you make any major decisions and do something that can't be undone.

Do you love your husband? The odds are good that the answer to this question is yes. Love isn't something you can simply turn off because he's hurt you. That's a good thing. It gets most marriages through the first couple of years as you're learning to live with someone new for better or worse.

Do you BELIEVE your husband loves you? But before you answer this think back to the time before you knew about his cheating and answer honestly what your answer would have been then first. Afterwards you can answer your question for now. If both are yes, that's great. If one is yes and the other no then you might have a problem worth exploring. Either way, it's still possible to save your marriageafter your husband cheats.

Do you believe your marriage is worth saving? This is the one answer that matters most in the end. Different people put stock in different things in marriage. Fidelity is very important to some women and infidelity by their husbands actually changes the way they FEEL about their marriages. If YOU don't feel the same way about your marriage then perhaps it is best for you to walk away.
