Shulchan Aruch Establishes Jewish Law
Through the study of the scriptures it is possible to gain great understanding of the word of God and his love for his children on the earth
. By reading the Torah and Talmud many people have grown closer to the Lord by daily reading from the sacred verses of scripture. Through a course of study that can help to explain and interpret some of the more difficult chapters of the holy text, some people have turned to the Smicha for understanding. Through the writings of the ancient prophets the Lord has given instructions and commandments to His people and has provided them with the laws and covenants that are needed to return to His presence on day. However there are times when the passages of scripture are open to interpretation and may be confusing in their writing as one reader may find enlightenment and meaning that differs from what someone else gleans from the ancient text.
To help shed light on the more difficult passages of scripture that can be found in the Hebrew writings of the Talmud and Torah, rabbis and teachers often turn to the works of the Shulchan Aruch and the Smicha to help them find the true meanings of the verses that relate to the Law of Moses. For a number of people the words of the scriptures can be a little confusing. While the overall message from God is understood there are times when a very specific verse may lead a person to questions about the nature and meaning of the law of the prophets. For this reason the Shulchan Aruch and Smicha were written by scholarly rabbis that had a full understanding of the words of the holy scriptures. Writing their wisdom in the accompanying books of the law, it is easy to find a reference that can be given exact meaning and interpretation of the laws as they were intended by the Lord from the beginning.
For people that are studying the Talmud and Torah there are special classes that also examine the Shulchan Aruch and teach the laws of Moses as they are meant to be from the Shulchan Aruch and Smicha. Giving greater insight into the nature of God and His divine plan of the salvation of His chosen people the classes delve into the reference materials that are the absolute final word when it comes to the interpretation of confusing or difficult passages of scripture. Under the direction of the rabbi the continual study of all of the Jewish books of scripture can lead a person to greater personal enlightenment as they strive to live worthy of the Kingdom of God the Father.
