SID : hello, Sid Roth here with Darren Wilson
, what occurs when this unassuming college professor who had not done a film in his life, he is doubtful, that is about an understatement, of the supernatural, he is commissioned by an angel to do a film on miracles around the world. Darren I understand you were forced by your pa and your wife to go to a church in Canada, what was going on there?
DARREN : yep, well first of all I must say that the Lord had essentially given me the idea for this movie about four or 5 months before and I didn't want anything to do with it.
SID : Why?
DARREN : Well because one, I did not have any money, 2, I didn't have any contacts, and three I had no desire to make any explicitly Christian movie, I thought that it was out there, a little cheesy and a little inauthentic as it were. I actually did not want to become a part of that. It's a very charismatic sort of thing and folk were whooping and hollering and doing their tiny shimmy shakes or whatever you need to call it and just being terribly kind of wild and exuberant, let's put it that way. And I remember it was the last night of the conference and I was sort of standing in the back, it was right in the middle of worship and one of the speakers got up on stage and just kind of announced an angel had just entered the room, his name was breakthrough. And he had just come here from Nigeria or something similar to that.
SID : Did you think him?
DARREN : No, no, no, no. And so I am sitting in the back thinking yeah, right, okay so apparently there is an angel in the room now and this fellow happens to know his name and knows where he had been for the last ten years, and so on and so forth . So I am in the back, you know trying to worship thinking all these unrighteous thoughts and I have my eyes shut like every good evangelical should, and as my eyes are closed I see this thing pass in front of my eyes, you know occasionally your eyes are closed but you can tell that somebody just walked in front of you. And I opened my eyes real quick just kind of out of reflex and there was nothing there. And I closed them and the number's here, still standing there. And I had my eyes closed but I could see like this outline. And this was very bizarre to me. And he is literally the strongest individual i have ever met in my life, I mean just
SID : Are you seeing shadows or are you seeing actually a clear being?
DARREN : It is shade ; it is sort of a shade of an outline and he was just crackling with power, I will not describe, like a drill sergeant on steroids, you know truly just you know fired up. And he talks to me ; it was just ringing in my ears when he chatted to me, and he says,'Are you ready?' I had no clue what he was talking about. So I claimed yes. And he is saying again,'Are you ready?' I said yes. And he says a 3rd time, this time I could see his hands reach up for my head so I know he is like grabbing my head, I could not feel anything, and he screams in my face,'Are you ready?' And I eventually declared,'Yes, prepared for what?'
