Mobile phones are the lifeline for many people

It was a foot and an inch long and weighed 28 oz. It was given the nickname of the "Brick" because of the way the phone was styled and shaped. Of course, this phone did not last forever. Other cell phones came out and the initial one became obsolete.

The next generation started in the 1990s. In order to get a better connection, digital signaling was introduced. This also helped in the decrease of dropped calls. By this time, just about everyone that could get Unlocked Cell Phones, or at least some kind of mobile phone, because it started to become the "in" thing.

Nowadays, there is the 3G. Siemens Cell Phones use digital signals and they can send data along with text messaging. A lot of them also have internet capabilities, along with looking at television or listening to music.

It's just so amazing how these devices have evolved over the years. To think it once resembled a brick to what it has become now. It has definitely been through its share of transformation.
