Bangalore palace

The Bangalore palace is located in the Palace Garden of Bangalore. The palace was constructed by the Wodeyar Dynasty in the year 1887. It exhibits Tudor-style architecture and magnificent woodcarvings on the inside. King Chamaraja Wodeyar of Wodeyar dynasty was impressed by the Windsor Castle of London during his trip to England and built the palace similar to it. The palace was the residence of the Mysore rulers. The palace is well equipped with fortified towers, gothic windows, turrets and battlements which add to the beauty of the palace.

Shiva statue

The Shiva statue in Bangalore is one of the massive statues of the country. The height of the statue is about 65ft. being at that place you will get a mythological feeling as the surroundings and the statue will give you a feeling as if you are in Kailash. The surrounding is really pleasant and the spiritual environment is soothing and relaxing.

Lal Bagh Garden

The Lalbagh Botanical Gardens was founded by Hyder Ali, the Emperor of Mysore, in the 18th century. The gardens were completed by his son later. Tipu sultan imported plants and tress from different parts of the world. The garden has the largest collection of exotic and rare plants of India. Other major attractions of the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens are Glass House, Aquarium and a lake. Glass house is the place for hosting flower shows every year.

Bugle Rock

>Bugle Rock is a huge rock located near Basavanagudi temple or Bull temple. It lies in the southern part of the city and is of major interest for the scientists. The rock is known to be 3000 million year old. In the earlier days four watch towers were constructed by Kempegowda II in order to set limits for the Bangalore city. One watch tower was built on the Bugle rock and today the rock is attracting millions of tourists to the city.
